Japanese Larch Christmas Tree – Embroidered Print

My favorite Christmas tradition is the Christmas tree. The smell of the sap and the lovely green needles freshens up any room, especially in cold winter climates, where windows stay closed. I have many fond memories of decorating my tree with family, and decorating the house.

This vintage botanical print is embellished with embroidered ornaments in red, yellow, and blue, and silver stars, and adds a touch of whimsy to any table top setting or mantel piece. It comes framed with a glass cover, and will last many generations if handled with care. The Japanese Larch is the perfect gift for that family member or friend who always does so much to host your celebration, and who looks forward to Christmas each year. After all, this holiday is about what we give to each other, and the abundance of Nature on the coldest, darkest days – the Christmas tree is the perfect symbol for that.

This piece took roughly 8 hours to embroider, using DMC threads and Scotch Washi tape.
