“The Water Bearer” reflects uncertainty over climate disasters, the response of northern Nations to climate refugees, and the individual responsibility and agency of the artist to raise awareness of these issues.

This original embroidered self-portrait took roughly 450 hours to sew over 6 months, measures 30″ by 40″. The print for sale measures 23″ by 29″ – it is from the first limited edition run, and is the last one available. There are no plans for another printing.
